This incredibly affectionate Tortoiseshell with white girl is nicknamed “Squirt” here in the cattery. She is registered as a Calico New Foundation Maine Coon with the world’s oldest cat association here in the United States. This means Squirt is the first of her ancestors to be recorded in a stud book, and as such, her lineage is genetically distinct from pedigree lines that are more commonly seen today.
